about

Switzerland’s !Organism imprint returns with a solid new release from French producer M.A.D.A featuring three original new tracks of quality techno and backed with a remix from Attemporal ..

The !Organism label has been enjoying a great run of things in 2012, releasing a slew of outstanding techno from the likes of Tom Laws, Jerome Sydenham, Yan Stricker & Emanuele Millozzi. Now to close the year the Lausanne based imprint has teamed up with respected French producer Cedric Sanna AKA M.A.D.A. for a stunning new EP.

M.A.D.A has built a solid reputation of late with a string of extremely well received collaborative singles dropping on labels such as Hidden, Android Muziq and Nachtstrom Schallplatten. Now he delivers a brand EP for !Organism kicking off with the excellent ‘SH147’, a brooding and rolling slice of stripped backed techno built around understated drum programming and simple but effective stabs. Next up we have title track ‘T.K.O.’, taking things into dubbier territory with it’s high held strings and heavily delayed hits, quality stuff. The original is backed with a remix from Spanish production duo Attemporal, a pair who have been garnerning huge support for their releases on Synewave and Resopal Schallware. For their mix of ‘T.K.O.’ they turn in an intense reworking that features skittering percussion and some wonderfully tough machine noise that give the track another dimension. Finally we have ‘U90’ which closes things with a slight Detroit influence, marrying bold rhythmns with subtle melodic elements to great effect.

!Organism is a label that is going from strength to strength delivering undeniably high quality techno from a raft of exciting artists that this latest release is no exception, enjoy !

Since then the Swiss imprint has played host to a slew of the genres most prized producers, including the likes of Perc, Cari Lekebusch, Hans Bouffmyhre, Jerome Sydenham, Audio Injection. ... more
