about

Essential Swiss techno outlet !Organism welcomes a dream team of Feyser & Dolby D for their next EP, which deals in only the finest club sounds and includes a remix from Frenchman Moteka.

Feyser is a well known name in true techno circles. He has also come up with the goods on labels like Naked Lunch and Audio Ellite. Here he goes solo on one track, then pairs with Dolby D, a Frenchman who has put out high energy techno on more than 120 different labels over the last twenty years. Between them they truly put their vast experience and understanding to great use.

Up first is the beautifully bleak and sci-fi sounding thumper "Refrain" from Feyser. Rock solid drums, crisp claps and a dark vocal repeating just a few words suck you in, then wild, brutal synth textures rip all around to bring the drama. It"s a real show stopper, to be sure.

Moteka is the remixer and is someone who has been active for years with projects touching on psy trance. Nowadays he is a raw yet subtle techno man with a cinematic style. His version is nearly eight minutes of distorted techno that races through a solar storm with gauzy textures and explosive synths all trapping you in a truly intense groove.

Feyser and Dolby D then link for "Charm" a much more stripped back and visceral kicker with raw textures, hard kicks and dubby chords that add some funk and wobble to the groove.

This is techno for big dark spaces and is the sort of stuff that cannot fail to stand out in any set.
