about

Switzerland’s !Organism imprint returns with another sterling EP of rolling techno, this time provided by Italian producer Emanuele Millozzi and featuring a remix by Octave…

The !Organism label has been making solid headway in 2012, releasing a string of searing techno releases featuring music from the likes of M.Fukuda, Tom Laws, Mylo Salte, Jerome Sydenham, Flug & label boss Yan Stricker. Now the Lausanne based imprint looks to another addition to the label’s musical family, Italian producer Emanuele Millozzi.

Millozzi hails from Rome where he has established himself as a force to be reckoned with on the local techno scene. As a DJ he has been playing some of Italy’s leading techno nights for a number of years, whilst as a producer he has worked with labels such as Afulab, Land Of Voodoo, Nutempo, Miniatures rec & Elektrax.

For this latest EP Emanuele Millozzi offers up three new recordings, kicking off with title track ‘Black Heart’, a deep and pulsing slice of tough techno with a haunting industrial feel to it. To accompany the original we have a remix from one of France’s rising techno stars, Octave, who delivers an intense and taut reworking of ‘Black Heart’ that is a superb alternative.

Next up we have the rolling, bass heavy ‘Boost’ a full bore techno assault that is certain to tear up floors wherever it’s dropped. Finally we have ‘Over the Real’, a dark edged and metallic sounding record that provides a perfect closer to this excellent package.

This new single from Emanuele Millozzi is another stellar release for the !Organism label and is set to further cement it’s reputation for quality techno, enjoy.
